Its been a manic year so far. May and June were by far the most hectic but I have loved every single minute of it!

The Hay-on -Wye Literature Festival was an amazing event to be part of.  It lasted for a whole 11 days.  Thats not including the preperation to get our stand up to scratch and to take it all down afterwards.

Vintage Tramp joined forces with local event  "Hay Does Vintage" which is organised by my lovely friend Jo Hodges. Together we promoted the local Hay Does Vintage Fayre which runs twice a year in the Summer and Winter months.

The excitement started on day one when Prince Charles and Camilla came to the site. They had visited a local Hay-on-Wye family business and then called to the site afterwards.

The Hay Festival site was buzzing with photographers and journalist. We managed to get ourselves onto the BBC1 news which was such a great start to a fantastic week!

We decided to keep our Facebook/Twitter and Instagram fans up to date wit our "Outfit of the day"  It went down a real treat. We had people popping in to see us everyday, they couldnt wait to see what we had chosen to wear!  We also got blogged a few time which was really exciting for us, we went to such effort every single day with our outfits, it really made it worth while to get such a good response from everyone.

The highlight of the festival was selling a faux fur gilet to the one and only Cath Kidston.

Here I am saying thanks to Cath Kidston for her Vintage puchase !
